The chuckwagon is the precursor to the American food truck; building community and living the good life. Nothing is more iconic than the working cowboy, especially in Wyoming. Steeped in tradition, the brown and gold influence can be seen everywhere. Pretzels, lemonade, and tea are just a few of our favorite examples. Inspired by the desire to deliver something with a twist, the WY Knot Pretzel Co. was formed in 2024. With passion woven into every recipe, we welcome you to enjoy the taste of something special.

Flour
The main function of flour in baking is to build structure and strength in the dough. Decide what you stand for, believe in yourself, and shape your life from there.
Water
Water is responsible for all of the natural chemical reactions in the dough making process. Be a force for the change you want to see in the world.
Yeast
Raising and aerating the dough, yeast adds flavor, texture, and strength. If you want to lift yourself up, lift up others.
Salt
The purpose of salt is to keep the yeast in check and enhance the flavor of the other ingredients. That which does not kill us makes us stronger.
Brown Sugar
In our recipe, the sugar is used to feed the yeast, lock in moisture, and contribute to crust color. Happiness doesn't result from what we get, but from what we give.
Butter
Butter tenderizes the dough, making a softer crumb, and adds flavor. Don’t aspire to be the best on the team. Aspire to be the best for the team.

Get to Know Us
Great cooks are usually described as adventurous, daring, and enthusiastic - traits that describe Mike and Cris. When they are not operating their food truck, Mike inspires young minds as a career tech educator, while Cris, a committed school nurse, takes care of the health needs of elementary children. Beyond their work lives, they enjoy spending time with family, friends, their cherished dogs, and doing anything in the great outdoors, from backpacking, to cross-country skiing, to diving under the sea.
